Thomas Edison was a great American inventor.When he was a child,he was
always asking many strange questions,so his teacher didn’t like him and didn’t
want to teach him any more.His mother had to take him home and taught him to
read and write by herself.She found that Tom was very clever.He learnt fast and
became interested in science.When he was only ten ,he built a lab for
himself.
Thomas Edison spent most of his lifetime in inventing
inventions.He had made 1,093 inventions in his lifetime.Someone didn’t
understand why he was able to make so many things.This because he was a man who
never gave up.He thought that nothing was difficult if you put your heart into
it.He was really a great man!
