evaluate 表示准确地估计,estimate 表示推测地估计.具体分析如下：
1. evaluate：
意思是：确定…的数值或价值或者对数值或价值仔细地考察和判断、评价.
evaluate 很少用来表示用猜测的方法“估价”或“估计”某物的市场价值,而是用来表示比较准确的“评价”.如：
By marks in numbers or letters, the teacher evaluates a student's work. 老师用数字或字母的符号来评价学生的作业.
The scientists were still evaluating their data. 那些科学家还在评价他们的资料.
2. estimate：
意思是：恰当地推测物品的数量、程度、规模,状况或价值
对…形成判断所表示的“估价”或“估价”只是猜测,甚至只是一种想法.如：
