Bing Dwen Dwen is the mascot for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Combining the image of the panda with the super-energy Ice Crystal Shell, the head Shell is modeled from the ice and snow sports helmet and decorated with colorful halo. The whole image resembles the astronaut and is full of a sense of future technology. On August 8,2018, the launching ceremony of the Global Collection of mascots for the Beijing Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympic Games was held. On the night of September 17,2019, the ice pier was officially unveiled. lce Pier implied to create extraordinary, explore the future, reflects the pursuit of excellence, leading the times, as well as the future-oriented infinite possibilities.
