Get Ss to look at the pictures on the screen and say where they usually shop.

Step 1: Look and answer

Ask the Ss to look at the picture and answer the following questions: Where would you like to go shopping? Whom would you like to go shopping with? Do you usually do some shopping at weekends? Step 2: Word study

Study the following words about places for shopping.

supermarket, shopping center, shopping plaza, department store, mall, green grocery, etc. Step 3: Warm-up

Boys and girls ,I want to go shopping after school, but I don’t know which store I want to buy a T-shirt for my son and a pair of shoes for myself. Where do you usually do some shopping? Who would like to give me some advice?

Some Ss may give me some advice.

Thank you for your advice, now let’s look at which shops Zhang Ling will lead Mr. Wallace to.

【探究案】

探究活动一:To know some shopping places and goods in Beijing. Step 1: Show some shopping places in Beijing.

Let Ss know they are Xiushui Market and Wangfujing Street.

Step 2: Show Ss some goods, let them know they are silk blouse, souvenir etc.

教师反思:本节课要求学生写一篇介绍服务项目的公示性短文,向公

众介绍一家商店,给出有关这家商店的营业时间、货物、服务情况、位置、以及顾客的反映信息,了解说明文的写作方法。在写作的过程中学生遇到的困难就是有些单词不知道怎么用英语表达,我在一旁及时给予他们帮助,并鼓励他们自己动手查字典。养成良好的学英语习惯。
