摘要：A roofing system characterized in that it employs a first loading or insulatingcoat of asphaltic cement and a suitable inert insulating material preferably an igneous,glassy, siliceous or micaceous rock such as vermiculite (exfoliated), pearlite (popped) orthe like applied to and covering a roof deck, a waterproof membrane applied over saidfirst loading coat and extending at least substantially to the edges thereof, and a secondloading coat of asphaltic cement and a suitable inert insulating material preferably anigneous, glassy, siliceous or micaceous rock such as vermiculite (exfoliated), pearlite(popped) or the like applied over said waterproof membrane.
